Ovana is a specialty online retailer of yoga-themed gifts, including jewelry, sculptures, posters, and Manduka mats. The company was unhappy with their existing e-commerce provider.
EM Online Media's team transferred Ovana's existing design to a new e-commerce platform and implemented a robust content management sytem that allows the team at Ovana to easily add new products to their online catalog, to create new "featured products" and new "product galleries" (and position them optimally on the site), and to quickly update site copy.
The site ranks highly for "yoga gift" and "yoga gifts" on Google.

Oral CDx Laboratories manufactures several leading cancer detection tests, including an oral brush biopsy that allows dentists and other medical professionals to easily and painlessly test common, harmless-looking, unexplained red and white spots that may in fact be precancerous or cancerous, and a procedure for early detection of dysplasia and cancer for the larynx, pharynx, and surrounding tissues.
Oral CDx required a new website to provide easy access to product information for both patients and medical professionals. We devised an architecture that allows visitors to easily navigate to areas of interest and has proven successful in helping the company's diverse audiences learn more about its innovative cancer detection solutions. We also incorporated online video presentations in which medical experts explain the value and utility of Oral CDx's tests.

Perkins Coie is one of the nation's largest law firms with over 500 attorneys and 14 offices. Clients include such leading corporations as Microsoft, Amazon and Google.
Robert F. Bauer, a partner in Perkin Coie's Washington, D.C., office maintains a niche website called More Soft Money Hard Law, which is devoted to reporting and commentary on developments in the regulation of the political process such as campaign finance. The website was recently relaunched on a content management system ("CMS") architected and deployed by our programming team. The CMS was customized to meet the specifications of the site's administrator for optimal control over site layout, display and archiving.

Glenny’s is a major manufacturer of healthy snacks, including the leading producer of soy crisps. However, their prior website was poorly designed, and used online ordering that was not secure, thus discouraging online purchases. The in-house email list contained only several hundred names, despite a national customer base numbering in the tens of thousands.
Our team upgraded the website to a bolder, more modern look. We integrated a secure shopping cart and checkout functionality, and a sophisticated site statistics program that pinpointed customer traffic patterns and conversion rates. We launched a weekly email newsletter. Finally, we recruited a network of dietitians to contribute “healthy living” content to an integrated blog that helped transform the company’s site from an online store into a lifestyle destination.
Online sales have nearly quadrupled since the new site was launched. The in-house email list has grown to over 6,000 names, and email campaigns now contribute nearly a quarter of the monthly online revenue.

Dr. Jeffrey Hoos, a leading implant dentist and successful investor, wanted to capitalize on his connections in the dental implant industry to launch a portal that would offer both free and paid online content and resources to implant dentists and dental implant manufacturers.
We designed a themed website revolving around multiple content areas, including: implant industry news, interviews with dental implant experts, and product reviews. We integrated a secure shopping cart and checkout functionality to enable the online sale of books and CD’s, and online seminar registrations. We optimized the site code for the search engines. We launched a blog to facilitate community and dialogue on cutting edge implant topics. Finally, we launched a weekly email newsletter.
Sales figures are confidential, but have grown rapidly from zero at launch to over six figures annually. The e-newsletter has over 14,000 subscribers. Implant manufacturers have inquired about advertising opportunities. The blog has attracted input from a high number of implant dentists who contribute their opinions on various topics. The site is also ranking high on the first page of the free search results in Google for various implant keywords (e.g., periotomes).

The GLA Chapter of the ALA, with 360+ members throughout the Los Angeles metro area, was growing quickly and was very active with regular luncheons and other networking opportunities. Its website, however, wasn't keeping pace with a 90's look-and-feel that didn't reflect the vibrancy of the Chapter. Equally problematic, the procedures for updating the website, as well as for keeping track of memberships, event registrations and other Chapter data, were antiquated, resulting in an administrative nightmare for those volunteers entrusted with site and membership management.
eLawMarketing's team worked with GLA's Board to design a new look-and-feel that mirrors the excitement of the metropolis the Chapter calls home. Captivating shots of major LA landmarks adorn the home and interior pages. At the same time, all content is database-driven resulting in easy site maintenance. Perhaps most importantly, with our online membership management software, the Chapter has automated its membership operations allowing adminstrators to log in through a secure, web-based interface to manage website updates, new memberships, dues, event registration, the Chapter job board, and vendor sponsorships. Members can also log in to renew their memberships and pay dues online.
